  5. What Occurs During My First Visit?
During your hour-long first visit, an in depth clinical history is taken along with an extensive physical examination to include but not limited to Chiropractic testing utilizing Applied Kinesiology methods, functional Neurological and Orthopedic testing, as well as Nutritional screening. Your doctor will evaluate your spinal structure and nerve function for each condition using the latest state of the art procedures and techniques. As with each patient, the source of your medical problem is sought, regardless of how minor or severe your particular discomfort happens to be.

Our Doctors take a different approach to your illness and use some instruments for analysis that may or may not be familiar. Our Chiropractors know that even though two patients have the same disorder, they may not necessarily progress in the same manner. Every patient is studied and evaluated individually. You may be asked questions about falls and injuries, which you may not have considered important. You may be asked about how often you take pain relievers, your daily routine, your diet, etc. The Chiropractors at Roselle Alternative Care Centers are very interested in every detail of your condition and will always take time to completely attend to your health problem.

After completing various physical examinations, labortory and x-rays if needed, your doctor will be able to determine the cause of your problems. Examination results will provide valuable information to help you get well again. X-rays provide a blueprint for guidance in locating and reducing the cause of your suffering.

All aspects of the examination should correlate and lead to the final diagnosis and recommendation for treatment. At Roselle Altemative Care Center, our goal is to give you back your health, naturally. For more information on specific modalities, please visit our "Services" page.
  6. How Long do I need Treatment?
Your treatment plan will be based on the results of your physical examination, x-rays and or / lab work. An individually prepared treatment plan will be created for you. We at Roselle Altemative Care Center treat every patient on an individual basis.

Two patients may have the same disorder, but each may  not respond to treatment in the same length of time. One of the ways you can reduce the amount of time for treatment is to come to all of your appointments. Missed appointments not only mean a longer period for treatment, but you may risk  reversal of the work that has been done and the strides you've achieved in getting back to good health.
  7. How Well Educated are Your Doctors & Professionals?
Chiropractic colleges and medical schools each have its own specialties, but the hours of classroom instruction are about the same. Doctors of Chiropractic must satisfy a demanding academic course that leads to a first professional degree requiring six academic years of study- two years preparatory and four years professional.

Chiropractor must meet stringent educational requirements, including 600 hours of internship, which qualifies them for licensure in most U.S. states and Canadian provinces. Chiropractors are required to pass rigid national board examinations as a prerequisite for licensure in most U.S. states. Further, most states (such as Virginia) require Doctors of Chiropractic to stay abreast of the latest health care techniques by attending seminars and other special study programs.
  8. Do you have Financial Arrangements?
Financial arrangements may be made on an individual basis. Please ask your doctor for more information after your initial consultation.
